Ready to use a lifeline?

Wish you could use a lifeline?

You probably know the TV show that made the phrase “I’d like to use a lifeline” popular. Wouldn’t it be helpful if in daily life we had those lifelines available to us every day, no matter the significance of the issue from the mundane to the big questions of life?  Who could you ask? Whatever your question in life you can phone a friend, ask social media connections or even ask AI. But is that really going to give you an answer specifically for you?

Here is why the Other Worldly is my go to lifeline.

Well, perhaps we can with AI but how much trust do you have something that offers an answer but then has the caveat that the information may not be accurate? There are enough humans on the planet giving away inaccurate information and whilst facts can be easily twisted, I would prefer a source that is reliable and trustworthy.

Before you think I am going to bash AI and say that we should never use it, that is not my point.  I think there are many people, me included who think that AI can serve a wholesome purpose to help humans, for example diagnostics for medical conditions and helping trainee surgeons practice their surgery skills.  But when it comes to gaining guidance for the many aspects of life and needing a lifeline, you know that I have another source that I trust.

The Other Worldly, the Universe, the Cosmos, Spirit Guides, Ancestors, Saints, Angels, God, Goddess – however you wish to name that source beyond us, but yet part of us, is your choice.  At the moment I tend to use Other Worldly, although do use Universe too.  Our personal beliefs are a personal choice and how you want to address that is beyond us, is a personal choice too.

Whilst I cannot put my hand on my heart and say that I have understood every message of guidance I have ever had from the Other Worldly at the time I have received it, I know that at some point, all will be revealed to me and everything becomes clear.  As frustrating as that can be at times, it is these experiences that give me trust that guidance will always be given.  Whether I understood it or even like it, is irrelevant – I am always given guidance or information that helps me.

The Other Worldly is my lifeline and I love using Oracles as a method for communication.  Every day I choose an Oracle message, usually once I have asked a question.  Some days it may be a very specific question about a situation, other days it is as simple as ‘what do you want me to know today?’ or ‘What guidance do you have for me today?”.  In more challenging times I often ask for ‘ a positive message to raise my spirits/energy/mood’.  As I said, I may not have liked some of the messages, but I can say with hand on heart, the communication from the Other Worldly has never let me down.

Oracles are not my only method of communication.  Quiet time and meditation create the physical and energetical space for guidance and messages to come through.  Often some of the best pieces of guidance happen when out walking in nature.  If we can allow ourselves to be open, the Other Worldly is a valuable lifeline wherever we may be.

Sometimes, the lifeline comes without being asked.  You know those times when you decide to walk or drive a different route to a familiar place and then find you avoided a traffic jam or even an accident.  Then there are those ‘bolts from blue’, things that come into your mind or your senses as if from nowhere, that give you an instruction or guidance to avoid a person or place.

One of these bolts out of the blue happened to me a couple of months ago.  It was a significant bolt out of blue as it related to a difficult situation I was in the middle of at the time.  I was driving in the car when I saw the opposite of something I was expecting to see and I immediately received the guidance ‘this is your lifeline to get out Ruth’.

Wow.  That felt big and I knew I had to pay attention and take that seriously.  So what did I do next? Well, I will finish this tale for you in next month’s journal on how this lifeline manifested in the world and the actions I had to take.

In the meantime, if you have something in life that you need some guidance on, ask your Other Worldly.  In a quiet moment and a peaceful place (often the garden for me), just look up to the sky and ask for help.  Then be open – and patient - to the ways that can come to you.

If you would like some general guidance on what is happening in the Cosmos over the next month, you can watch my Cosmic Forecast for November here.

If you would like personal help for Other Worldly guidance you can book an Oracle Reading with me.  Here is the link for more information.

Thanks for reading. Ruth
