It’s Halloween and it can be scary talking about …. money

Here is a horror story for Halloween, according to the Pensions UK website, "Brits missing £31.1bn in unclaimed pension pots".

Here is a coincidence, as well as today (31st October) being Halloween, it is 'World Savings Day'.

Here is my connection to savings/pensions and living a spiritual and intuitive life:

One of the buzz words that gets used a lot about living an intuitive life is 'abundance'. We usually associate this with money, but living an abundant life is about more than financial wealth. It is about health, living with good intent and happiness - as a starting point.

But one of the the things, the people I work with most want to know about is financial abundance. How can they manifest it, how can they get more money?

Here is some earthly and practical advice today. If you have pension pots that you have lost track of, please track them down. The money is there waiting for you claim it.
If you think that sounds like hard work because you don't have the paperwork or you don't know who the pension administrator is, this will not hold you back from claiming it. Yes, you may have to complete more paperwork, but surely it is worth it to get money that is yours?

Here is my story: A couple of years ago I tracked down a lost pension. Through some online searches I was able to find the company now managing the pension. I wrote to them with copies of old paperwork and some other information and very quickly I received an updated statement. Even my Financial Adviser was suprised at how much that pot was worth. It really was worth tracking it down and it was not that much effort.

The website for World Savings Day has some good advice too. "AI advises. Human decides." Which let's face it, could apply to most things in life. Their website reminds us that saving is a human endeavour because really, it is about the FEELING of financial security.

Which brings me back to when my clients want to know about their financial abundance, that is never the starting point. My question is why they want that financial abundance in the first place. Financial security? To live without the worry of being able to pay bills? To get on the property ladder?

If you are in the UK and have an unclaimed pension, I wholeheartedly recommend that you claim your part of that £31.1 billion.
