Intuitive and Spiritual Living: Self-Health Part 3 - The Entanglement of Body, Mind and Soul

There is one concept that I feel science and spirituality have in common.  The idea that everything is connected.  Perhaps a better way of understanding that in our modern times, is that everything is entangled.  From blended families, to the red tape of global commerce, everything is connected and a lot of these connections have become complex, a big mess of a tangle.

Einstein understood that although he did not like it.  He is attributed to have said “spooky action at a distance” of an experiment on Entanglement Theory.  In a basic nutshell, the experiment had two particles in two different places, one thousands of miles from the other, yet these two particles could pass information to one another.  When one particle had its state deliberately manipulated or changed, the other particle thousands of miles away changed its state too.  In effect, we would say they are communicating.  Now, let’s apply that theory to our body, mind and soul for Self-Health.

The particles are our cells, organs, the liquids, gases and everything that makes us physically human, plus the non-tangible that makes us human too – the ability to think, create emotions and our inner compass, the soul.  If one of those cells changes, it impacts everything else in the human.  Having a physical illness may play on our mind and we begin to feel stress.  The stress could become so overwhelming that we lose the connection to our inner compass, that is the soul.  If one chooses to believe that there is an Entanglement Theory that specifically applies to humans, then surely one would choose to believe in holistic healing.  To me, holistic healing is one that looks to heal the whole human rather than just the piece that is not working.

So far, so good.  But it is the actual healing that then gets tricky.  If Holistic healing is the definition of healing, “the process of making or becoming sound or healthy again” * there will be many things to consider.  Let’s take a simple example of a broken bone.  Surgery may fix the bone.  A plaster cast may be worn for weeks.  The human with the broken bone will have a period of rest and not be able to do their usual activities for a while.  So while the physical part is healing, the mind is left to its own devices.  In holistic healing, how to occupy and focus the mind would be taken into consideration.  For example a daily dose of small things to do that require little physical effort, such as a guided meditation, reading one poem a day, a small piece of art work of colouring in or other things that inspire creativity and give the mind a job.  Maybe daily counselling or talking therapy.  The creatives aspects would occupy the mind and the meditation maintains the connection to the soul.  This is a basic example, but I am sure you get the idea.

This holistic example also brings me very neatly to another point.  Holistic healing covers many different methods and applies to what is considered today as conventional as well as alternative medicine.  Surgery would be considered conventional (although when you delve into the history of this, is it an ancient healing method too) and aromatherapy for healing skin after surgery would be considered alternative.  Which brings me very nicely to my next point, taking responsibility for our Self-Health.

Self-health is about taking responsibility for our own body, mind and soul because we know those things best.  Not even a doctor, consultant or nurse can know all those things about us.  Each of us has to be responsible for our holistic healing.  I believe that holistic healing is often a combination of conventional medicine plus alternative treatments and therapies.  Or even alternative treatments and therapies and conventional medicine.

I believe even more strongly that when we embrace our human entangled state of body, mind and soul and when we give credence to the inner compass of our soul, we can receive other worldly guidance for the process of making or becoming sound and healthy again. We can heal.  We can choose to embrace both the Ancient and Modern Wisdom of Self-Health.  To twist the words of Atomic Kitten, ‘You can make you whole again’.

It just so happens that I believe that I can prove that spiritually, everything is connected, with some personal evidence.  When I wrote this blog, I intended to publish it on 14th April.  A couple of days after writing it, I checked my schedule and lo and behold, I had previously planned to write about World Quantum Day on that date.  Mind blown, goosebumps all over the body.  Entanglement Theory, is part of Quantum Physics, which is part of Quantum Day.  Somehow it just seems it was meant to be and that the Universe definitely brought all this together, because I certainly didn’t!

World Quantum Day is celebrated on 14th April each year to promote global awareness and increase public understanding of quantum science and technology.  It is a fairly new observance day which started in 2021.  There are many parts to the Quantum World such as mechanics and physics and for most of us mere mortals, it is science beyond anything we ever learn and can be hard to understand.  Clearly, I am thanking the Universe for bringing all this together and yet again, amazed at how my antenna is connected to the other worldly.

Me and this blog are living proof that entanglements are everywhere – and most of the time we do not even notice and yet magic still happens

If like me, you favour the spiritual aspects of the world, yet have a fascination that science is catching up and proving many of the intuitive things we know, here are three books that may be of interest:

Mind to Matter by Dawson Church

Becoming Supernatural by Joe Dispenza

Science and the Akashic Field by Ervin Laszlo

If you would like help to clear up your body, mind and soul entanglements, I offer Oracle Readings with guidance from the Other Worldly or Intuitive Mentoring, where I support you in reclaiming your intuition.  To chat and find out if this is for you email me at support@ruthannrichards.com with ‘support’ in the subject line.
