13th September - Day for Positive Thinking
Thirteenth September is designated as Positive Thinking Day. Now if you are rolling your eyes, please stay with me on this one before you click off. I have conflicted thoughts about this day too. Does positive thinking really needs its own day?
My conclusion is, if that there is a day when there are more people on the planet thinking positive thoughts, especially thoughts about making the world a happier place, then I am all in.
There is so much doom, gloom, misinformation and hate in the world, then I want to be part of counteracting all of that.
Plus, the more of us thinking focused thoughts on change in the world, the more chance this has of happening. It is a form of collective manifesting, which really is like voting. The majority wins. So the more of us doing our best to think more positive thoughts than negative and to take positive actions in the world, the more chance of it happening.
It you think that is new age poppycock, let me tell you about the HeartMath Institute and their research. They have conducted scientific research that shows when a group of people come together to focus on one thing, it can make a difference and become manifest in the world. Here is the link where you can find out more.
Today and every day, we face many choices and decisions. But right now one of the most important ones is what focus do you want to give to your thoughts. You can get caught up in all the fear, drama, misinformation and negativity. Or you can choose to believe there is still a lot of good in the world.
