Summer Journalling

If you are having a break, holiday or planning a bit more rest and relaxation time this summer maybe it is time to give journalling a go. Below are some pointers to get you started or that you can adapt and make your own.

My purpose for journalling is to get emotions out of my head and onto the page.  Once you start with one question, you may find you do not need any others as you open to flow.  Pick any question to start with.  If you are finding it hard to choose a question, just start with the first one.

Remember, journalling is not about making a list of keeping a record of your daily activities.  The purpose is to tap into something deeper within you so that you can release those emotions that hold you back, prevent you from being you and in spiritual terms, that no longer serve you.

What is my dominant emotional feeling right now?

What have been my dominant emotional feelings been over the past few weeks or months?

What worries me the most?

What brought me the most joy and happiness recently?

What has made me feel low, unworthy or sad?

What would I like to be different in my life?

What are all the things I am grateful for that I have in my life right now?  (This can be people, things, places, a job, anything at all).
